“Victoria provides me with an ever-growing arsenal of tools to help me reach attainable goals. For example, when I wanted to better develop my Chaturanga we had a one-on-one discussion on placement, breath and core strength, and she reminded me with glowing encouragement that I ‘was right where I needed to be.’ Her sentiment provided me with a fortitude that still stands.
Victoria is attentive and quietly profound. She makes it clear that she has confidence in me. In turn, I have trust in her. Even when I have trouble with something I have set out to accomplish, Victoria stimulates positive mental direction. I can say, without hesitation, that she has personally invested herself in my progress.
Not only am I in awe of the ease and precision of Victoria's movements, but the way in which she carries herself with humbleness and appreciation for her students. From opening breath to final bow, she is a catalyst for a safe environment. She has opened my head and heart to the joy that springs from equanimity and perseverance. Her devotion to the craft is contagious. She gives herself and her time freely. She makes herself available for questions regarding self-discovery through Yoga that go well past her allotted class times.
I have a great deal of admiration for Victoria because she gives me practical applications for how body movement, breath, and form can be an expression of self. Her classes promote finding inner stability and outward steadiness.
Victoria’s instruction has laid a foundation for discipline and development. I feel a comforting eagerness to participate because of the improved strength, stamina, stability, and flexibility I have attained. At one point, I was having difficulty with single-leg balance. Victoria could see I was frustrated that I couldn't find my form and recognized I was beating up on myself inwardly. Her reply, "Excellent patience in finding your place." This is indicative of her presence. There is no forceful nature of being right or wrong in her instruction. She fosters growth through exploration and kindness to self."

“Since commencing yoga instruction with Victoria, my confidence in my ability to embrace and consistently practice yoga has increased exponentially.
My main concern when starting yoga was a fear of being judged because of my "fleshy goodness" such that others would think that I did not belong in a yoga studio. While struggling in the class in which I met Victoria, she attended to me by offering alternate positions and demonstrating the use of props. She did not ignore me!
Victoria is patient, supportive, and non-judgmental... qualities that I searched for; and failed to find for an extended period of time in a yoga instructor. She is genuinely concerned about my physical and emotional well-being.
I especially appreciate her feedback!!! It always seems positive. Even when I feel that I'm doing something wrong Victoria shows me that I'm actually in the position or state of mind for which she was aiming.
The expert ways Victoria has taught me to use yoga props is the real game-changer for me in my ability to happily practice yoga. As a result, I am stronger and less "fidgety" because I am actually moving in sync with others or on my own with less hesitation.
After taking Victoria’s Foundations of Ashtanga Yoga Workshop, I began practicing Mysore with her at the yoga club. The attention, instruction, instructors, other students, and sense of "oneness" within the practice space represent a "value" far above the price I am requested to pay.

“Victoria is a highly trained and experienced professional yoga instructor. She is deeply dedicated to the practice of yoga and the many benefits it brings to our daily lives. My private in-person and virtual sessions are always tailored to meet my long-term goals while accommodating any limitations I may have on a given day. Her sessions are challenging but supportive, and the results over time have been amazing.
I’ve been practicing with her twice a week for three years and I've gained greater flexibility, strength, and balance, which has improved my performance in other activities including tennis, basketball, dancing, and horseback riding.
Victoria’s teaching style is informative, intentional, yet relaxed and supportive. I always look forward to my early morning private sessions with her to prepare me for whatever challenges may come my way in the day ahead.
What continues to amaze me is the progress I’ve made simply by staying consistent, how much I have learned, and how much more there is to explore!

“I would recommend Victoria to anyone seeking a private yoga teacher with attention to detail, a willingness to be flexible, and a strong desire to understand your needs.
When we began working together I was concerned about previous injuries I experienced in asana many years ago, but Victoria consistently went the extra mile to understand both my limitations and strengths.
She always checks in with how my body is feeling and is completely flexible if my energy is low or something hurts. I’ve witnessed her taking the time to study and learn new things to help my body specifically. You can’t ask for more!
My previous fear is shifting and its such a blessing to be able to practice asana again.”

“I've spent most of my life disconnected from my body due to trauma. While I would like to be in better shape, physical exercise that would force me to re-inhabit my body has always felt too scary.
But when I met Victoria, something felt different. I knew that I could trust her not only with my body, but also with the fear and anxiety inside it. Victoria has been amazing – she keeps things at my very basic level. She keeps pushing me just a little bit further, and is also ready to catch me when feelings come up that need to be processed. I feel safe with Victoria, and that's not something I've ever felt with anyone while doing physical activity before. I value Victoria and her guidance immensely because she is helping me to settle back into my body, one stretch at a time.

“Victoria is a sensitive, conscientious yoga practitioner who adapts to her clients needs with thoroughness, care and expertise. She empowers you to be part of the process so that you can target your areas of concern as a team and get results.
I grind my teeth, and when a dentist expressed alarm I sought out Victoria to help me relieve stress through Yoga. I enjoy stretching and spend time doing this on my own, but tend to dislike yoga classes. Victoria adapted our sessions to target stress relief and relaxation, released the muscles in my jaw and head to help ease the tension, and was sensitive to my unique body needs (tight shoulders and a stiff/sensitive ankle from a previous injury). Our sessions reminded me how important it is for me to stretch, daily; gave me some specific poses tailored to my needs for future use, and in combination with wearing a mouth guard helped reduce my tooth grinding (I bit through my first mouth guard before our initial session, but haven’t bitten through a guard since).”

“Victoria is a yogi badass who knows a lot about anatomy and psychology; she will inspire you to be YOUR best self and achieve YOUR best practice. I appreciate the subtleties that Victoria understands that only come with years of dedicated practice.
Because I've practiced yoga on and off for two decades and been through teacher training myself many years ago, I appreciate Victoria's strengths more than most. I came to her because I was struggling with some hip and shoulder issues that my sporadic practice was aggravating. Victoria provided me with new physical cues and guidance that effectively addressed my pain.
Victoria skillfully shares her years of physical and emotional study and practice, yet doesn't abandon her beginner's mindset. She is attentive to her students' special conditions in individual OR group classes. She cheerfully connects with all types of humans of any age (she has taught my teenage daughter as well as my 60+ year old neighbor). I'd recommend her to any human, because whether you have yoga experience or not, Victoria will spur dramatic growth in your practice.”
